She did hotel management and had the pleasure of working with most honoured chefs at Park plaza five star Hotel Punjab. Been awarded by Jiggs Kalra, also known as the "Czar of Indian Cuisine" and "Taste maker to the Nation" and Master Chef Sanjeev Kapoor an Indian chef and entrepreneur. Being told that she would go far with her cooking.
Opening an Indian restaurant has always been Manpreet’s dream. Cooking food for others has always made her happy. Geelong is the place where her dreams have taken place through the name of Eastern Spice, situated at Eastern Beach Geelong, Victoria with stunning views of the waterfront.
The menu is small but changes regularly so be warned….you will not find the typical Indian restaurant menu of endless types of curry here. This is because each dish ordered is made with care and fresh ingredients. We also have a large selection of craft and some interesting imported beer, wine & whisky.
