Come and explore Geelong Regional Libraries’ Seed Library, located at seven libraries across the region including at Geelong Library & Heritage Centre.

The Library provides free seeds – including flowers, herbs and vegetables – for your garden and encourages contribution of seeds for others in a community-based swap system. The system is simple: visit the library and ‘borrow’ up to three packets of seeds. Take the seeds home and plant in your garden, and once you have nurtured your plants to maturity then donate seeds back to the library. And check out the seed library events – from Seed Growing Success to learning about indigenous plants. Before you know it, you’ll be eating home grown lettuce, herbs and more!
