The White Farm: Art, Heritage and the Bellarine - By Linda Gallus
In late 2018, artist Linda Gallus found a falling down woolshed on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Inspired by the peeling white paint on the buildings, she called it The White Farm. For three years Gallus explored the farm, trying to find traces of its stories in the ruins.
The White Farm series comprises eleven artworks that capture various buildings on the property at different stages of decay. With her acute sense of place, Gallus has preserved a part of our heritage that is slowly being lost.
