An unused store in Geelong’s CBD has been brought to life as an engaging and creative public space as part of the Renew Geelong project.
The ‘Renew Concept Space’ at 105-107 Moorabool Street (part of Market Square) is now open. Previously vacant, it hosts a number of creative projects including art displays by Geelong Illustrators and repurposed vintage furniture by BOE (Built on Enthusiasm).
Renew Geelong aims to bring new life to empty and under-appreciated buildings and precincts.
At the same time, it provides emerging creatives, artists and performers with a rent-free space to showcase their talent.
Property owners and agents are encouraged to contact Renew Geelong if they are interested in activating a vacant commercial property: email firstname.lastname@example.org.
