Business Development Opportunities
At Central Geelong Marketing, we are committed to creating a vibrant and exciting environment in Central Geelong for people to visit and do business. We are working hard with the proceeds from the special rate to create a range of exciting campaigns to bring people into Central Geelong.
This area will provide you with information regarding special business development opportunities These opportunities may be provided by Central Geelong Marketing or may be special opportunities we have heard about and want to pass on to our stakeholders.
School Holiday Fun Guide brochure (Winter 2012)
The Winter Central Geelong School Holiday Program will commence on Saturday, 30 June 2012 and is now in its 8th year and is more popular than ever.
The two week program will see a range of events and activities aimed at attracting families into Central Geelong specifically for the activities on offer, who will then stay on and spend at Central Geelong businesses.
We will produce a School Holiday Fun Guide brochure to promote the program and advise families of the great activities and specials on offer in Central Geelong.
Your business can be involved in the school holiday program three ways:
1. To provide a special offer to be included in the Fun Guide, click here.
2. To provide a FREE activity to be included in the Fun Guide click here.
3. Email a flyer promoting any paid activities to centralgeelong@geelongcity.vic.gov.au by Thursday, 14th June 2012. This information will be uploaded to www.centralgeelong.com.au on the School Holiday Fun Page.
The theme for the program is Fun and Food. Fun theme in the first week and food theme in the second as it will be linked in with the Taste of Central Geelong festival and all food themed special offers and free activities will also be printed in the Taste of Central Geelong festival program.

Make your Blood Donation count!
To make sure that your blood donation counts towards the Central Geelong Marketing tally and so that we can track how many lives we save this year, register online.
It is a quick and simple process that will take about 2 minutes! All you need to do is follow the below instructions.
Go to www.donateblood.com.au/clubred
- Click on 'Join a Club Red group online'
- Complete your personal details including Donor ID
- In the 'organisation' section type in 'Central Geelong Marketing'
- 'Submit'
The great thing about Online Tracking is that you only have to register once and it will automatically add your donations toward the tally, along with adding any donations that you have made from January 1st 2010.
