Park & Ride
There are more parking options for workers and shoppers in Central Geelong. By parking and riding, you are helping the environment, freeing up car spaces for customers in Central Geelong and saving money on parking fees.

Central Geelong Shuttle - Park and Ride service at Eastern Park
For those living on the eastern side of Geelong or on the Bellarine Peninsula, there is a Park and Ride service that operates from Upper Hearne Parade, Eastern Park.
Departing From
Central Geelong Shuttle Park and Ride Service- operates between 7:30am to 10:00am and from 4:00pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
Travelling time is approximately 10 minutes each way using the shuttle bus.
Travel on comfortable, modern and air-conditioned buses.
Parking
Free all day parking is available at Upper Hearne Parade in Eastern Park for Park and Ride passengers.
Bus Stops
In the morning the shuttle picks passengers up from Upper Hearne Parade in Eastern Park and drops them off at three locations.
Look for the red Central Geelong Shuttle signs on posts at these locations:
- - Moorabool Street, between Malop and Corio Streets
- - Yarra Street, between Malop and Lt Malop Streets
- - Ryrie Street, between Yarra and Bellerine Streets
Of an evening, passengers may board the bus from the morning drop off locations, at the stops listed above, and the bus will return passengers to the car park at Upper Hearne Parade.
Bus Fees
The cost for this service is $3 per person per day - this includes all day parking and return bus fare.
Purchase your bus ticket at the ticket machine in Eastern Park. This is a cash or credit card transaction machine.
Please show the ticket to the driver on boarding the bus.
Permits (1 month or 3 months) will be available in the near future for regular passengers using the service frequently. Updates will be posted via this website.

Kardinia Park and Ride
Service and Fees
Workers can park at Kardinia Park and travel into Central Geelong and back on public buses for only $2 per day. This service is available from Monday to Friday.
Parking
Workers can park all day for free in the designated parking area at Kardinia Park (in the south east corner of the park) - access via the Moorabool Street/Park Crescent entrance, opposite De Grandi Sport and Cycle.
Unfortunately, during the works being undertaken at Skilled Stadium, patrons will need to park elsewhere within the park where all day parking is offered until works are completed.
Additional free all day parking is available within the park, such as behind the Senior Citizens Centre and on Park Crescent.
Tickets
The daily $2 ticket is available from the ticket machine located next to the bus stop at the Moorabool Street/Park Crescent entrance to Kardinia Park (also opposite De Grandi Sport and Cycle). Passengers will need to show the ticket to the bus driver when they board a McHarry's or Benders bus.
Passengers also need to keep this ticket to show the driver on the return trip.
Bus Timetable
Between 7:30am and 9:30am there are several buses running from Kardinia Park to Central Geelong. Average travel time via these buses is approximately 7 minutes.
For the return trip to Kardinia Park, passengers catch a southbound Benders or McHarry's bus from Central Geelong bus interchange to return to their car.
