Calling all beachcombers…

This summer, the beach comes to the National Wool Museum with Sand in the City – a playful, sand-filled, interactive installation exploring Geelong and the Surf Coast’s legendary beaches.
Sand in the City is all about creativity, fun and imaginative play – and features giant sand models of the city’s iconic coastal landscape and an alluring ‘hands-in’ sandbox using augmented technology. Using over 1 tonne of sand, kids of all ages will be able to create sandcastles, sculptures and scenes dreamed up from their imagination.

Normal entry fees apply.
