The biennial Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong returns to the Labour Day weekend in March 2018, with activities and fun for the whole family. The event has expanded even more since it was last held in 2016, and this year as well as all the wonderful wooden boats on display at the Royal Geelong Yacht Club (including 3 tall ships!), visitors will be able to view a local artist exhibition at the Geelong Club, maritime themed works at the Geelong Art Gallery and enjoy plenty of free entertainment on the waterfront. Held from Saturday 10 – Monday 12 March, the Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong is not to be missed! Sail Corio Bay on a tall ship, enjoy free face painting and kids activities, experience Indonesian, Maori and Indigenous culture, indulge in a whisky tasting and dance the night away at the Rock and Roll night, as well as marvelling at the beauty of the gorgeous wooden boats on display both on land and on water!
